What golf ball should I use?

I am a beginner and have only been playing golf for about 6 months. When I go into a golf store I see what seems like thousands of golf balls. What should I be looking for as a beginner?

I would recommend buying inexpensive, soft golf balls that you can afford to lose often. I would, however, recommend buying ball made by know manufacturers. Take a look at Callaway Supersoft, Titleist TruFeel , Maxfli Softfli or Srixon Soft Feel balls. They are cheap, but also perform well on the course. Hope that helps!
